Rotary Scholarship Interviews

May 18, 2026 - May 20, 2026

Scholarship Applications went out to the school counselors today! I wanted to start the process for putting together a group of you willing to read and rate the applications. The kids have until April 24, 2026 to get them in. I will get them set and sent to "readers" by May 1, 2026 at the latest. You will need to choose your top 5 for interviews by May 8, 2026. Please let us know if you are willing to do it.

Moving forward, I have scheduled Interviews. We would like to have a meeting prior to interviews to decide which questions each will ask to keep it consistent between each interviewee. Hoping to make it more fair. Let me know if you are available on the following dates and times:

Monday May 18, 2026 at Batavia High School from 9:30am - 11:30am

Tuesday May 19, 2026 at Notre Dame School from 9:30am - 11:30am

Wednesday May 20, 2026 at GV BOCES from 10:30am - 1:30pm (this time may change slightly depending on which students are chosen to interview) Two sets of students will be interviewed for the regular scholarship and the new grant for skilled trades students. Could be up to 10 interviews)
